Guidelines

You must board the Metro train from the station where you have purchased the ticket.
You have to enter Metro train platform within 30 minutes from the time of ticket purchase.
You have to exit Metro station premises within 90 minutes from the time of ticket purchase.
One child below 90cm (less than 3 feet) is allowed to travel, without a ticket, with an adult.

Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) has outlined a list of offences and penalties as per the Metro Act. This is to ensure passengers are aware of their responsibility to pay for travel. This policy is also available at our ticketing offices and Customer Care Centers for easy reference and public awareness.

As per the provisions of the Metro Railways (Operations & Maintenance) Act, 2002, certain actions are classified as offences and are subject to penalties. These regulations are in place to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient environment for all commuters.
